Join St. John Ambulance India. Fill the form and we'll get in touch.
St. John Ambulance India volunteers make a real difference—at events, in communities, and in emergencies. You'll gain hands-on experience, learn first aid and life-saving skills, and be part of a trusted national organisation.
Volunteers support first aid at public events, assist in training sessions, take part in community outreach, and work with hospitals or care settings where our programmes run. You can choose areas that match your interest and availability.
As a volunteer you get access to first aid and CPR training, certificates recognised by St. John Ambulance India, and practical experience that can help in your career or personal growth. Many volunteers also receive letters of appreciation or experience for their contribution.
We welcome anyone with a willingness to learn and serve. No prior medical background is required for most roles. You should be 18 years or above (or 16+ with guardian consent in some programmes). Commitment, reliability, and a genuine interest in helping others matter most.
We have volunteer opportunities across India. Time commitment varies by role—from a few hours at one-off events to regular weekly or monthly involvement. You can mention your city, state, and availability in the form so we can match you with opportunities near you.
Our team will review your application and get in touch within a few days. We may arrange a short call or meeting to understand your interests and availability. Once onboarded, you'll be guided to training and volunteer opportunities in your area.
